1 Team of 4 Cubs per pack

One Adult will be required from each Pack to supervise a different team (No prompting your team before the Day)

Cost: £ 12 per team (to be paid on the day (cash please)

Time Table:

10.am   Doors Open
10.30am   Competition Starts
12.30pm   Lunch
3.pm   Competition Ends
Presentation of Trophy
3.30pm   Parents to collect Cubs.

Drinks will be provided during the day but teams must provide their own lunch.

The competition will consist of: -

1.Each Cub to make a snowman shaker in a jar

2.The team to make a model of a London Landmark

3.Each Cub to make a mirror/picture frame (to be decorated as desired.

All materials will be given to teams on the day. 

I must know if your pack is taking part, in order to supply all with the materials needed, (late entries will not be accepted). To avoid disappointment please return the slip below By 1st November No later please, or phone me or e-mail me.

If you have any Bits or Bobs for the Junk Craft Modelling, these can be brought to the next CSL's meeting for Will to sort or bought to DHQ the Thursday before the competition.  We particularly need cereal boxes and similar and possibly screw topped jars for the snowmen.

All teams to provide, Hammers, hack saws, sand paper, bradawls, scissors, pencils, glue guns (if owned), rulers, paint pots, sellotape, glue and Bench hooks, all marked with your pack/ group, name, to eliminate loss.

The district will supply: - 6 Glue guns, 3 Saws, 6 Hammer, 6 Sand blocks, 6 Hack Saws, 2 Hand drills, 6 G clamps, 10 Bench hooks and Paintbrushes

I would like to have all glue guns in one place, so if any one has a multi plug socket Please bring with you.

District Handicraft Competition 15th November 2003

The                                                 Pack will be entering a team for the Handicraft Competition.
